Marcel Azubuike, PhD is a founding member and director of Baseline 360 Limited. He heads the Sustainable Development Unit where he brings a strong technical background and over 15 years of experience in the environmental discipline, encompassing public sector, consultancy and voluntary sectors where he held various senior positions. Before Baseline 360 Limited, Marcel managed a portfolio of environmental and social impact studies for large oil and gas construction and installation projects by a giant operator in the energy industry.
His focus is always to support clients to embed sustainability into the design and development of projects which reduces the carbon footprints improves and improves their financial bottom-line through incorporation of best standards in energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainable business practices.
Marcel is at the forefront of our effort at Baseline 360 Limited to grow a strong Sustainable Development Unit that works with clients to proactively develop and deliver innovative and client-centred solutions that serve the needs of clients, offering them industry best practices and tailored support services in areas which include waste management, energy efficiency initiatives, quality, product and service benchmarking, as well as the development and rollout of environmental management systems to help clients achieve safety and process improvements and be compliant with requirements and standards. Marcel is a member of several professional bodies and industry groups where he a regular contributor.
An experienced business consultant, Alex specialises in strategic planning, business development, business analysis and project management particularly in IT, credit risk, management information, consumer & socio-economic analysis. He has more than 13 years experience in the Finance Industry, working within different work streams like change & project management, IT, credit, finance & management information both international and the UK. He is committed to delivering excellent results and effecting positive organisational change. Alex has an M.sc in Operational Research and currently the Head, Business Development at Baseline 360 Limited and sits on the board of various 3rd sector organisations.
Alex engages and led the development of strategic business plans for various 3rd sector organisations in the UK that is committed to social change. Alex is passionate about delivering lasting transformational change to both the private and public organisations. He is actively involved in research in Lean Six Sigma and the positive effect of this change.
Jude has strong statistical background. Well-grounded in quantitative and qualitative research.
He is an experienced data analyst and versatile statistical programmer. He possesses strong skills for providing innovative solutions to complex business and statistical problems. He has vast experience in Statistical Consulting and has good communication skills and capable of translating complex statistical concepts for the benefit of non-statistical audience. Jude has extensive experience in Environmental Research and modelling, Marketing Research, Econometrics, Time Series Analysis, Social and Public Health research.
He is an expert in survey protocol design and analysis of survey data. He has special interest in multilevel analysis, change point analysis and spatiotemporal analysis. Jude holds a PhD in Statistics and has more than fifteen years experience in research and consulting, having taught in several high institutions.
Chimezie Umeh has been very involved within various 3rd sector organisations and very engaged within the African communities in Scotland. He is a management consultant with over 13 years’ experience of delivering IT projects, strategy, process improvement and business programmes for mid to large organisations. He has worked with a number of leading consulting firms, banks, utilities, retail, and public sector organisations in the UK and internationally. Currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Heriot Watt University, Chimezie is currently the Deputy Chair of the African Council and was previously the Chair of Next Step Initiative and the African and Caribbean Network.
He is a volunteer consultant with Cranfield Trust, +Acumen, Global Poverty Project, and currently the Head, Organisational Improvement at Baseline 360 Limited and sits on the board of other various 3rd sector organisations.
