Chimezie Umeh has been very involved within various 3rd sector organisations and very engaged within the African communities in Scotland. He is a management consultant with over 13 years’ experience of delivering IT projects, strategy, process improvement and business programmes for mid to large organisations. He has worked with a number of leading consulting firms, banks, utilities, retail, and public sector organisations in the UK and internationally. Currently completing a Doctorate in Business Administration at Heriot Watt University, Chimezie is currently the Deputy Chair of the African Council and was previously the Chair of Next Step Initiative and the African and Caribbean Network.
He is a volunteer consultant with Cranfield Trust, +Acumen, Global Poverty Project, and currently the Head, Organisational Improvement at Baseline 360 Limited and sits on the board of other various 3rd sector organisations.
